GREENVILLE, S.C. – To better and more efficiently handle its growing business, Innovative Design & Manufacturing has announced the purchase of a CNC mill and a redesigning of its plant.
The sophisticated CNC – or computer numeric control – mill imports computer-aided design specs to make precision parts of superb quality.
The reconfiguration of the plant shop, which includes some construction work and re-positioning of Innovative’s numerous machines, is intended to improve productivity and tighten individual project management.
“It’s going to make the shop flow a whole lot better,” said Bobby LeConey, Innovative’s president.
Innovative Design & Manufacturing is one of the region’s leading designers and builders of gages, fixtures and specialized machines. The company’s success is the result of a small but efficient staff of highly-skilled toolmakers, programmers and machinists who are expert in all areas of tooling and manufacturing parts.
